Kokeshi Roller Dolls League Mission Statement
The Kokeshi Roller Dolls is the first women's flat-track roller derby league in Okinawa, Japan that was established in August 2010 to provide a healthy, competitive, and enjoyable sport to the military, civilian, and local populations. We operate in accordance with the WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) rules and regulations, and function as a non-profit organization to support and further the worldwide roller derby community and to provide an opportunity for friendship and recreation. In October 2011, we were accepted into the WFTDA Apprentice program and are working toward becoming a full-fledged WFTDA league.

The Kokeshi Roller Dolls are excited to play their bouts at Comprehensive Park Arena, one of Okinawa's premiere sporting venues, which is also known as Okinawa Prefecture Athletic Park. The Comprehensive Park Arena is located in Okinawa City. As you would in a Japanese home, please be prepared to take off your shoes. We recommend bringing a small bag to carry your shoes inside. Drinks and food will be available, but are only allowed on the 2nd floor seating area. Thank you for your support, and please help us take care of the new home for the Kokeshi Roller Dolls.

Directions:

**From Camp Foster, exit Legion Gate straight on Highway 81 which turns into 227 at the Toguchi Intersection. Follow the ocean road around until you see the Torii Gate on the Left. Follow the parking lot to the very back and look for the indoor arena.

From Kadena, exit Gate 2 and drive straight on Route 20 until reaching the major intersection with Route 329. Turn right traveling south. You'll pass McDonalds before seeing the Okinawa Athletic Park signs to turn left. If this parking area is full, please continue south on 329 until the 227/81 Toguchi Intersection. Take a Left on 227 and follow the ocean road around until you see the Torii Gate on the Left. Follow the parking lot to the very back and look for the indoor arena.
